Initial logo as used in the prototype and Indiegogo campaign

The Indivisible prototype was created as a video game "pitch": a demonstration of what Lab Zero is capable of and what they hoped to achieve with the full game. It is available for PC, Mac and Linux via the official website, and is available as a demo on PS4 and Steam.

It was succeeded by the backer preview.

Scenario[]

Chasing after Roti, Ajna travels through the ruins of a temple, ridding it of Vetala that have taken over since its guardian lions were killed. As she progresses through, she is joined by Zebei, Tungar and Razmi, as well as finding an axe, before facing off against the Manote Thiha, a purple worm-like monster that has possessed the corpses of the temple guardians, in a massive pit. Upon its defeat, the spirits of the guardian lions have their revenge, burning the monster to death.

Ajna continues on through a passageway to find Roti, and the two race off.

Distribution[]

The prototype was first made available on PC to backers of the Skullgirls Indiegogo campaign on October 2nd, 2015 [1], before it was released to the public on October 5th, the same day that the Indivisible Indiegogo campaign began. In typical Lab Zero tradition, the prototype continued to be updated with bug fixes and a few aesthetic changes for the duration of the campaign, and it was also gradually released for Mac and Linux, and then on US PS4, EU PS4 and finally Steam.

Trivia[]

  • Ajna's Down Attack while using her Fists was one of her most effective moves. Although the attack appeared weak, it netted the most damage, Iddhi Meter gain, and had the fastest recovery of all of her barehanded attacks. This made her barehanded Neutral Attack, a seemingly more powerful roundhouse kick, totally redundant. Designer Mike Zaimont said this was balanced intentionally for the prototype, just to see which players would examine all of the properties of the characters' moves despite their appearances.[2]
